It was followed by the Singapore campus later that year, making LSBF the first UK-based business school to have a campus in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In 2011, David Blunkett \u2013 the former UK Home Secretary and Education Secretary \u2013 was appointed as a visiting lecturer. He has continued to be involved in LSBF\u2019s operations ever since, including conducting interviews for the school\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbf.org.uk\/press-and-media\/great-minds\">Great Minds video series<\/a>&nbsp;with figures such as Richard Branson, Deborah Meaden, Tony Blair, and Sir John Major.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":6} -->\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards and accreditations<\/h6>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In 2013, LSBF won the Queen\u2019s Award for Enterprise. Subsequently, in 2014 LSBF won two Global Business Excellence Awards for \u2018Outstanding Educational Service\u2019 and \u2018Outstanding Executive\u2019.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In November 2016, LSBF\u2019s Executive Education became British Accreditation Council (BAC) accredited.
